Around the world

One standard, in every country.

Companies in any country can apply. The criteria are the same everywhere. What changes from country to country is the document that proves each one.

A neutral core

Criteria are written in plain terms, such as "registered and in good standing" or "taxes paid when due", rather than in any one country's legal language.

Local proof

For each criterion we accept the official document your country issues. The table below lists the ones we normally ask for.

Local law comes first

Where your country's law asks for more, for example a higher minimum wage or an extra filing, the criterion is met only when the local requirement is met.

Local equivalents

The documents we normally ask for.

Choose your country to see what we normally ask for. Codes refer to criteria in the Basic Standard. Documents must be for the legal entity applying, and register extracts less than 3 months old.

Any other country

We accept the official equivalent for each criterion: an extract from your company register, your beneficial-owner filing where your country has one, and proof that taxes and social contributions are paid.

Where your country doesn't issue a certificate, for example for taxes paid, we ask for the latest returns, proof of payment and a confirmation from your accountant.

Tell us in your application which documents your country issues. We'll confirm what we need before you upload anything.

Language

Documents in English are accepted as they are. Others need a translation, which doesn't have to be certified unless we ask for it.

Fees in your currency

Fees are set in your local currency for each country we list, and in US dollars elsewhere. See prices for your country

This table is a guide to the documents we normally request and is kept under review. It isn't legal advice about your obligations in your country.
